How does it work?
Teknogard coats and penetrates each fibre forming a protective shield.
Does it change the look of the fibres?
Teknogard does not change the look or feel of the fibres.
Once Teknogard has been applied, you will not be able to tell the difference between treated and un-treated fabrics.
How long does the protection last?
Under normal conditions, Teknogard should last between 3 to 6 professional cleans.
Teknogard will provide long lasting protection and can be topped up by an applicator should the need arise.
Does Teknogard harm the environment?
NO. Teknogard does not contain any chemicals that can harm the environment or the Ozone Layer.
Do fibres treated with Teknogard need special care and cleaning?
No special care is needed - just normal cleaning such as regular vacuuming and professional wet extraction cleaning.
Does Teknogard have an odour?
Once applied, Teknogard has no odour.
Teknogard Maintenance
How to care for your protected items.
- Use entrance mats to help prevent soiling being trapped in the carpeting.
- Vacuum regularly to prevent dirt being ground into the fibres.
- Mop and clean any spills and marks straight away.
- Some stains and spills need repeated cleaning.
- Do not use water or a damp cloth to remove the stain.
- Try to blot with a dry cloth or tissue.
